Bogachuk: I’m ready to fight for the world title, but for now it’s important for me to keep the rhythm

The Ukrainian will fight against Patrick Allota from Ghana on July 22

WBC Continental Americas junior middleweight champion Sergei Bogachuk spoke about the preparations for the fight against the representative of Ghana Patrick Allota.

“Coach Manny Robles and I had a great training camp preparing for this fight. I know Patrick Allota very well, have watched his fights and am looking forward to the big challenges.”

“Now I am ready for a world title fight, but if it is not available, it is important for me to keep the rhythm and stay busy. This is my third fight in the last nine months and I am very grateful to my promoter Tom Leffler for these fights. When it’s time to fight for a world title, I’ll be more than ready.”

“I know that all my victories were early. I put a lot of pressure on my opponents and I know how much fans love knockouts.”

Bogachuk will fight Allota on July 22. The fight for the WBC Continental Americas title will take place in Santa Ynez, California.

In January, Sergei had a successful title defense. Bogachuk won by knockout over a native of Jamaica, playing under the American flag – Nathaniel Gallimore.
