Azerbaijani midfielderNeftchi and the ex-Spartak player Philippe Ozobic in an interview with he said that the head coach of Ferencvaros Stanislav Cherchesov did not invite him to the Hungarian team.
Ozobic signed a contract with Spartak in 2008 at the age of 16, when Cherchesov was the head coach of the Red-Whites, with him the footballer spent several training sessions.
– Stanislav Cherchesov, under whom you found yourself in Spartak, has already won two Hungarian championships. Maybe he invited you?
– We spoke warmly to him in Baku last August after our Champions League qualifier, but he didn’t invite me to Ferencvaros (laughs). I’m happy for him that he’s doing so well in Hungary, I wish him success in the new season,” Ozobich told .
