Saudi Arabian offer notwithstanding, legendary goalkeeper close to hanging up gloves
45 year old Gianluigi Buffonwho in recent years has advocated Parmaclose to ending his football career.
According to authoritative journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the most experienced goalkeeper received an offer from an unnamed club from Saudi Arabia, but still intends to announce his farewell to football in the coming days.
Buffon started playing for Parma back in 1995. He subsequently played for Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus again until he joined Parma in Serie B in 2021.
The Parmesan club failed to return to the elite, but the legendary footballer decided to stay for another year.
