A pupil of the blue garnet played in Girona last season
Barcelona signed Girona midfielder Oriola Romeu.
The pupil of the blue garnet has drawn up a contract for three years. Clasula for early termination of the contract is 400 million euros.
It is reported that Blaugrana paid Girona for 31-year-old midfielder 4.5 million euros. As part of the overall deal for Oriol, Viktor Tsygankov’s team previously signed Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre on loan.
Romeu played for the junior and backup squads of blue garnet until 2011, after which he played in Chelsea, Valencia, Stuttgart, Southampton. The midfielder made 36 appearances for Girona in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.
Barcelona became the champion of Spain. In the first round of the new season, the Xavi team will play with Getafe on August 13.
