The president PSG Nasser Al-Khelaifi Met with team members. The functionary noted that the decision regarding the fate of the players in the squad will be made by head coach Luis Enrique.
“It is important to tell you that the coach has the right to do whatever he wants, he decides. The club is more important than anyone here, even me. I expect you to give 200% during training. Look, you have the best training base in the world. You have everything to succeed here. You don’t need anything. You need to work hard. I want to have fun watching my team.”
Earlier it was reported that Al-Khelaifi intends to personally talk with striker Kylian Mbappe. The PSG president has said that Mbappe must sign a new contract with the club or he will be sold this summer to any team that offers a large amount. The leadership of the Parisians does not intend to release the striker for free next summer after the end of the current contract. Al-Khelaifi has set the striker until July 31 to decide.
PSG became champions of France last season. The Parisians will start the new Ligue 1 season against Lorient on 13 August.
