Ukrainian Petrov will be a referee observer at the Valmiera-Olympia match in the Champions League qualification

The beginning of the meeting of the first qualifying round – at 18:00

Ukrainian referee Vladimir Petrov will work as a referee observer at the fight of the first qualifying round Champions League 2023/24 between the Latvian Valmiera and Slovenian Olympia.

The return match of the confrontation will take place in Latvia on Wednesday. The match will be judged by the Spanish team of referees headed by Cesar Soto Grado.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian referees will officiate the return matches of the first qualifying round of the Conference League, which will be held on July 20. Referee Vitaly Romanov will work on the duel between Estonian Paide and B-36 from the Faroe Islands, and the team led by Alexei Derevinsky will serve the match between Arsenal Tivat and Alashkert.

The fight in Valmiera will start at 18:00. The first meeting in Ljubljana ended with the victory of Olimpia with a score of 2:1.
