Veres beat Kryvbas in sparring at a training camp in the Transcarpathian region – 2:1.
Rivne scored twice in the first half. At the beginning of the match, Denis Balan opened the scoring with a header from a corner. Later, also after a corner kick, Andriy Kuharuk scored the second goal.
Kryvyi Rih residents managed to win back one ball after the break, Denis Ustimenko hit the goal from close range after Dibango’s cross. However, Yuriy Vernydub’s team failed to level the score.
Both teams spent their final sparring at the training camp in the offseason. Recall that in the previous match Kryvbas played a draw with Dnipro-1 (2:2). Veres lost to Karpaty (1:2) earlier.
Kryvbas in the first round of the championship of Ukraine will play against Oleksandriya on the road on July 30. Veres will start the new UPL season with a match against Polissya on July 28.
