Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin said that the average salary of sports coaches in Russia in 2022 amounted to 48.2 thousand rubles.
On Wednesday, the Government Hour with Matytsin was held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. It was about the implementation of the state program “Development of physical culture and sports”.
– This approximately corresponds to the average salary in the social sphere in Russia and is higher than the figure for 2021 by 3.7 thousand rubles. The lowest average salary of a sports trainer was recorded in Ingushetia. In the Pskov region, the Republic of Crimea, North Ossetia, the Republic of Karachay-Cherkess, Chechnya and the Stavropol Territory, sports trainers are paid less than 30,000 rubles per month. The highest figure was recorded in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug,” Matytsin told the press service of the State Duma Sports Committee.
The Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation also noted that it is necessary to think about the future of sports schools, since the average age of Russian coaches is approaching 50 years. He is now 46 years old.
Matytsin said the Ministry of Sports was the first in the social field to provide direct financial support from the federal budget to public-private partnership (PPP) agreements.
— 14 installations have already been commissioned. The new federal project “Business Sprint” aims to continue the practice of attracting investors. In 2023, 24 projects will be supported, including 15 scheduled for commissioning this year.
The total amount of budget allocations in 2023 amounted to 124 million rubles. Five projects received support in the amount of 100.2 million rubles. The total cost of the infrastructure created under these projects will amount to 2.4 billion rubles. That is, for 1 ruble of budget funds, we attract 24 rubles of private investment,” the minister added.
