Ukrainian striker Bruges Roman Yaremchuk helped the team defeat Heist in sparring, playing in the championship of West Flanders.
Yaremchuk entered the field after the first half with the score 9:0, replacing Igor Thiago. In the second half of the meeting, the Ukrainian scored six ballssetting the final score of the match – 22:0.
Yaremchuk, 27, scored two goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances for Club Brugge last season. The contract of the Ukrainian with the Belgian club is valid until the summer of 2026.
Brugge finished the season in fourth place in the Belgian championship and will play in the Conference League qualification. In the 1st round of the new championship draw, Yaremchuk’s team will play with Mechelen on July 30.
