“Cherchesov was fired, it was not worth waiting for anything else, it’s a fiasco. He must have offers from Poland,” Utkin wrote on Telegram.
The reason for the early termination of the contract with the coach was the early departure from the Champions League team. “Ferencvaros” suffered a crushing defeat at home against the Faroese team “KI Klaskvik” with the score 0:3 in the first qualifying round of the tournament.
Stanislav Cherchesov has been leading Ferencvaros since December 2021.
