The parties are far from agreement on the deal
Sports director Miner Dario Srna arrived in Milan, where he will hold talks with the management Inter about the transition of the Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin.
The parties so far cannot find a compromise in the cost of the player. The Milan club is ready to pay 15 million euros for Trubin, the Pitmen plan to earn 20 million more. At the same time, a variant of the deal will be discussed, where Shakhtar will receive a part from the subsequent resale of Trubin.
With Trubin’s contract with Shakhtar expiring next summer, Inter could sign him for free in 2024. However, the Italian club hopes for a positive outcome of negotiations with the champion of Ukraine in the current off-season.
Earlier, the Nerazzurri was offered 10 million euros for the Ukrainian, as well as bonuses and interest from subsequent resale. Initially, it was reported that the Pitmen want to get at least 35 million euros for the 21-year-old goalkeeper. Now, according to the Italian media, the Donetsk club can lose the goalkeeper for 20 million.
Last season Anatoliy made 38 appearances for Shakhtar in all competitions (40 goals conceded). The goalkeeper completed 14 meetings “to zero”.
Together with the youth team of Ukraine, Trubin reached the 1/2 finals of the European Championship 2023, where the blue-and-yellows lost to Spain (1:5). The goalkeeper played in 4 matches and conceded 6 goals.
Inter became the third in the championship of Italy. The Nerazzurri lost to Manchester City in the Champions League final. Shakhtar became the champion of Ukraine at the end of the season.
