Zenit gives a positive sign and Flamengo advances for Claudinho

In the last week, the Flamengo sent its first official proposal to the Zenit to hire claudinho. After a waiting period, the Russian club gave an encouraging response about the negotiation, saying it was open to selling the Brazilian. However, the conditions offered by Mengão have not yet been dealt with, but talks should advance in the coming days.

According to ‘GE‘, Flamengo’s first offer was already of great value, around 15 million euros, more than R$ 80 million at the current quotation. However, the club from Rio de Janeiro proposed an alternative form of payment, considering an installment plan for five years, including 10 fixed installments of 1.5 million euros. Thus, at the end of all these parts, Mengão would have 100% of the Brazilian’s economic rights.

The expectation is that Zenit put some impositions on this contract, but, after the green light for negotiation, the club from Rio de Janeiro is already preparing to move forward with the contract. Internally, Flamengo is aware that it should increase some values, especially with the inclusion of bonuses for goals and other additional ones.

In this negotiation, Flamengo adopted great caution and waited for the best moment to send its proposal, after much analysis and understanding of the amount needed to remove Claudinho from Zenit. In the same way as it happened with Allanrecently hired by the Atlético-MGand with Gersonwho returned at the beginning of the year leaving the Olympique de Marseille.

According to ‘GE’, Claudinho’s will is to play for Flamengo and leave Russian football. Therefore, the Brazilian club has already reached an agreement with the player, who accepted a contract valid until 2027 and has values ​​​​that were agreed by both parties on the midfielder’s salary.
