Star Spanish defender will join Messi, Busquets and Kryvtsov
Inter Miami announced the transition Jordi Alba from Barcelona. The 34-year-old Spanish defender has reunited at a new club with longtime partners Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets.
The contract with the left back has been signed until the end of the 2024 season, with an option to extend it until 2025.
Earlier it was reported that Alba, along with Sergio Ramos, is close to moving to the American club. Back in June, Inter Miami agreed a personal contract with him.
Recall that the Ukrainian Serhiy Kryvtsov performs in the American club. Miami is owned by David Beckham, a former Manchester United, Real Madrid, Milan, PSG and England player.
Alba left Barcelona as a free agent. The defender made 30 appearances for Blaugran last season, scoring two goals and providing six assists.
Inter Miami is in last place in the MLS Eastern Conference. In the next match, Kryvtsov’s team will play against the Mexican Cruz Azul on the night of July 21-22.
