Dnipro-1 arrived in Kosice, where it will play with Panathinaikos in the Champions League qualification

Delegation Dnepr-1 arrived in the Slovak city of Kosice, where on Tuesday the Ukrainian club will host the Greek Panathinaikos in the first match of the second round of qualification Champions League 2023/24.

The Dnipro club completed pre-season training. There, on Monday, July 24, the team will hold traditional pre-match events – a training session and a press conference.

On the eve of Dnipro-1 announced an official application for matches with Panathinaikos in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

The list includes striker Artem Dovbik, newcomer Evgeny Volynets, and midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, who recently recovered from injury. Midfielder Victinho, whose loan was announced by the Dnipro team on Thursday, did not get into the application. Also not on the list is midfielder Alexander Nazarenko, who trains with the youth team.

Dnipro-1 will play the first match with Panathinaikos on July 25. The meeting starts at 21:00 Kyiv time. Ticket prices range from 8 to 45 euros.

The return match between Dnipro-1 and Panathinaikos will take place on August 1 in Athens. The match starts at 21:30 Kyiv time. The fights will be broadcast by the UNIAN TV channel and the Youtube channel FootballHub.
