The “electric” design is meant to symbolize the vibrant life and dynamism of the city of Manchester
Manchester City have officially unveiled their third kit for the 2023/24 season.
The English champion, together with sponsor Puma, has presented the third kit for the new season. The unusual “electric” design with blue lightning bolts on a dark background is meant to symbolize the pulsing life and dynamism of Manchester.
The set was presented exclusively in Tokyo, Japan, as part of the Citizens Pre-Season Tour.
Manchester City won the Champions League for the first time in their history in 2023, beating Inter in the final. In addition to winning the European Cup, the Citizens won the English Championship and the FA Cup, thus completing the treble.
In the coming days, the Citizens will have sparring matches against Bayern and Atlético. On August 6, Guardiola’s team will play in the FA Super Cup match against Arsenal. In the first round of the Premier League of the new season, on August 11, Manchester City will play away against Burnley.
