No unpleasant surprises on the last day of the 2022/2023 Serie C registration application. All clubs that have not yet submitted the documentation, including the required €350,000 guarantee, have complied with the bureaucratic obligations. Clubs “at risk” were, in particular, Messina, Teramo and Triestina. Pietro Sciotto, the president of the Sicilian company, who for some time expressed a desire to take a step back, nevertheless proceeded with the registration. In the Teramo house, the intervention of the former president, now a minority shareholder, Yakini, who provided the guarantee, was decisive. Instead, they were hectic hours at the home of Triestina, with the transfer of 80% of the red and white club to Atlas Consulting, a relatively registered company of entrepreneurs Simone Giacomini and Antonino Maira.
