Brazilian projects ‘decision’ Conference League: “Return to making history”

In search of a place in the next edition of the Conference League 2023/2024, the PyunikBrazilian left-back team Juninho Telesface the Bodo/Glimt, from Norway, for the first game of the third knockout stage. The teams face each other this Thursday, 10, at 13h (Brasília time).

The first match will be played in Norway. The classification will be decided in Armenia, home of Pyunik. Juninho projected the duel away from home and spoke of the importance of getting a good result and opening up an advantage in the confrontation.

“We’ve already gone through two knockout stages, so we’re used to these decisive duels. We have to face it as a 180-minute game, we know the difficulties we will face away from home, but we are well prepared physically and mentally for this duel. Our expectation is that we will be able to bring a good result so that we can decide the vacancy at home”, said through his press office.

Last season, the Pyunik participated for the first time in the history of the group stage of a European competition, precisely the Conference League. Juninho was already part of Pyunik’s squad and now hopes that they can, again, get the classification and, once again, make history with the team.

“It was a big party last season because of qualifying for the group stage. Our expectation is to be able to win the classification again. We want to go back to making history, but we’re going with our feet on the ground. We know it won’t be easy. We still have two qualifiers ahead of us, we are going to think game by game, focusing on our objective”, completed the Brazilian.
