In the final, our basketball players beat the team of Poland
Women’s national team of Ukraine U-23 in basketball 3х3 won the stage League of Nations in Romanian Bucharest.
In the final, our compatriots were opposed by the Polish team. By the middle of the meeting, the rivals were leading by 5 points, but towards the end of the game, the Ukrainians managed to level the score, and in the end snatched the victory – 22:19. Anzhelika Lyashko brought the most points to our team – 7.
The participant of this tournament, Veronika Kosmach, also played in the Ukrainian national team at the European Games 2023, where our team failed to qualify for the playoffs.
The adult women’s team of Ukraine in 3×3 basketball entered the European Championship, which will be held on September 5-7 in Jerusalem. In Group A, our team will play with France and the Czech Republic. The two best teams from the group will advance to the 1/4 finals of the continental championship.
