The head coach “Manchester City” Josep Guardiola has confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne was injured and will not appear on the pitch in the near future.
The Man City midfielder was substituted in the 23rd minute against “Burly” in the 1st round premier league . The exact nature of the injury is not yet known.
“Unfortunately, he got injured again. Injured in the same place as in the Champions League, and will be out for a while, – BBC Sport quotes Guardiola.
De Bruyne has been with Manchester City since 2015. Last season he made 49 appearances, scored 10 goals and provided 31 assists.
