Madrid “Real” are preparing to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan, according to Marca.
According to the source, Real Madrid decided to invite the 28-year-old Spaniard after Sevilla goalkeeper Yassin Buna transfer negotiations broke down.
It is noteworthy that in order to return to his native country, Arrizabalaga broke off negotiations with Bayern Munich, who also intended to invite him under a loan agreement. The goalkeeper’s telephone conversation with German club coach Thomas Tuchel, who knows him from his work at Chelsea, did not alter the situation either.
Real Madrid are in the hunt for a goalkeeper after Thibaut Courtois suffered an injury after tearing the cruciate ligaments in his left leg on Thursday.
