Ukrainian confirmed his refusal to move to Besiktas
Genoa started negotiations with Marseille on the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky.
Bologna and Premier League clubs are also interested in the player. It is reported that the Ukrainian wants to continue his career in Italy and confirmed his refusal to move to Besiktas.
Earlier it was reported about the negotiations between Torino and Marseille. However, Italian club president Urbano Cairo stated that Malinowski was not on their list of interests.
Recall that Ruslan was not included in Marseille’s application for the Champions League qualifying matches. Malinovsky in January moved to Marseille from Atalanta on loan. In July, the French club activated the option to buy out the Ukrainian’s contract. Ruslan’s contract with Marseille is calculated until the summer of 2026.
In the first round of the new Ligue 1 season, Marseille will host Reims on 13 August. Genoa will face Fiorentina on August 19 at the start of Serie A.
