Head coach Rukh Vitaly Ponomarev summed up the match with Polissya (1:0) in the 3rd round championship of Ukraine. The Yellow-Blacks got the win thanks to a goal by Ilya Kvasnitsa in the 90th minute.
“Positive emotions, because we won. In the first half, we failed to implement what we planned on the field. But for the third game in a row we are playing very well in the second half. Thanks to this, we managed to defeat Polesie, ”Ponomarev said.
“The double substitution at the beginning of the second half was supposed to add team speed. Also in previous matches, substitutions strengthened the game, and this happened this time. Pluman also returned to us. He’s not 100% ready yet, but he’s a quality player who will help the team.”
“Due to team actions and functional training, we managed to snatch victory in the game with Polesie. Zhytomyr has some good attacking players and we have been preparing for this match.”
Rukh scored 9 points and leads in the standings of the championship of Ukraine. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Ponomarev’s team will play against Kolos.
