Head coach Italian national team Roberto Mancini left his post.
The Italian Football Federation accepted the coach’s statement late on Saturday evening. The federation is looking for a new head coach and will announce the name of the coach within a few days.
Earlier, Napoli offered Mancini the post of head coach of Partnepei. The President of the Neapolitans, Aurelio De Laurentiis, personally negotiated with the mentor.
The Italian national team is the rival of Ukraine in the selection for the European Championship 2024. Squadra Azzurra will play the next Euro qualifying matches on September 9 with North Macedonia and on September 12 with the team of Sergey Rebrov.
