Last Saturday, the 12th, Vincent Luque got the better of Rafael dos Anjos at the UFC Vegas 78, in a main card fight. The Brazilian returned to action against his countryman in style, with the judges unanimously deciding in his favor. The duel was marked by comings and goings in five rounds.
Luque stayed out of the Octagon for a year to treat a brain hemorrhage he suffered. The 31-year-old welterweight fighter admitted that he was nervous to face his compatriot due to what happened to him in 2022. The ‘Silent Assassin’, as he is known, got emotional when analyzing his return and spoke of a miracle.
