Mostovoy: ‘It won’t be easy for Zakharyan in Spain, I’ve been there before as a star’

Former Spanish “Celta” footballer Alexander Mostovoi said the midfielder Arsen Zakharyan it won’t be easy adapting to Real Sociedad after leaving Dynamo Moscow.

On Sunday, Dynamo head coach Marcel Lichka said on that Zakharyan could be called a Real Sociedad player. Blue and White chief executive Pavel Pivovarov said the 20-year-old midfielder traveled to Spain on Sunday to undergo a medical examination.

Of course, it won’t be easy for him. Still, Zakharyan comes out of it as a promising young footballer. I went there with star status: I was already USSR champion, I played in France, at Benfica. The comparison is therefore inappropriate.

Zakharyan is a young and strong football player. But he will encounter difficulties. He will see what the competition is. There is an interesting championship, where each player is individually strong. A lot will depend on him, on the coach. We saw him several times: he came in one team – sits, in another – plays, – RB Sport quotes Mostovoy.
