The Gunners signed a one-year lease with an option to buy the goalkeeper
Arsenal signed Brentford goalkeeper David Rayu.
The Gunners entered into a lease for a year with an obligation to buy, subject to certain prescribed conditions. The goalkeeper will wear number 22.
Earlier it was reported that the 27-year-old Spaniard was interested in Bayern, which is looking for a replacement for Jan Sommer. Raya was also interested in Tottenham. The Spurs even agreed on a personal contract with the Spaniard, but in the end they opted for the Italian Vicario.
Raya played all 38 Premier League games for Brentford last season, 12 of them clean sheets. Keeper missed the opening match of the Bees in the Premier League against Tottenham (2:2).
Arsenal beat Nottingham in the first round of the Premier League. The next matchup for the Gunners is Crystal Palace on 21 August.
