Brazil striker Neymar spoke about the decision to sign a contract with the Saudi football club Al Hilal .
On Tuesday the club announced the transfer of Neymar from French PSG, the parties signed a contract until 2025. According to the media, Al-Hilal paid 100 million euros for the player.
“I always wanted to try my hand at a new place. I want to write a new story, there are a lot of quality players in the Saudi league, the league is growing very fast.
Al-Hilal is a great club with fantastic fans. I feel like I made the right decision at the right time for me. I love to score and win, and I plan to continue doing so with my new team,” the club’s press service quoted the 31-year-old Brazilian as saying.
Neymar has become a teammate of the ex-Zenit footballer and his compatriot Malcolm.
Neymar has been playing at PSG since 2017. The footballer has played 173 games for the team, scored 118 goals and made 77 assists. As part of PSG, he became five-time French champion, three-time winner of the Coupe de France.
