As previously reported on Fox Sports, 27-year-old Chavez turned down the idea of joining the Moscow team. The reason was that the funds had not been provided to terminate the contract with Pachuca. This fact caused the Mexican midfielder some disappointment with the Russian team, and he expressed hope for a transfer to the club from Europe.
Kurti pointed out: “The message that Chavez will not travel to Dynamo is misinformation. According to my expectations, he will go to Moscow next week.”
Since July 2019, Chavez has been playing for Pachuca and during that time he has scored 14 goals and made 12 assists in 143 games for his team.
