It’s about loaning the Brazilian
PAOK is negotiating with Lazio on the transfer of the Brazilian midfielder Marcos Antonio.
We are talking about renting a player, while it is not specified whether the Greek club will have the option to buy Marcos at the end of the season. Earlier it was reported that Flamengo was interested in the services of the Brazilian, as well as two Serie A clubs – Salernitana and Sassuolo.
Marcos Antonio joined Lazio in the summer of 2022 on a five-year contract. The deal with Shakhtar cost the Romans 10 million euros. Last season, Antonio played 22 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal and one assist.
Recall that Antonio has been playing for Shakhtar since February 2019. As part of the Pitmen, he played 102 matches, scored nine goals and gave five assists. Together with the Donetsk club, the Brazilian twice became the champion of Ukraine.
Lazio finished last season in Serie A in second place. PAOK finished fourth in the 2022/23 Greek Championship.
