The Brazilian will receive at least 300 million euros in Saudi Arabia
Brazilian forward Neymar commented on his transition to Al Hilal. The striker signed a two-year contract. Neymar’s salary for this period will be 300 million euros and could rise to 400 million through various bonuses.
“I achieved a lot in Europe and enjoyed special moments, but I always wanted to be a global player and challenge myself with new challenges and opportunities in new places. I want to write a new sports history and there is amazing energy and quality players in the Saudi league right now,” Neymar said.
“Al Hilal is a giant club with fantastic fans, the best in Asia. It gives me the feeling that I made the right decision at the right time with the right club. I love winning and scoring goals and I plan to continue doing that in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal.”
Neymar’s previous club was PSG, who will receive 90 million euros for the striker’s transfer. In the 2022/23 season, the Brazilian made 29 appearances for the Parisians in all competitions. He has 18 goals and 17 assists to his credit.
At the start of the new season of the Saudi Arabian Championship, Al-Hilal defeated Abha (3:1). Neymar’s team will play their next match on August 19 with Al Feiha.
