Dynamo leader – about the return match against Aris
Winger Dynamo Andrey Yarmolenko spoke about the return match against the Greek Arisa in the third qualifying round Conference leagues.
“Home match in Bucharest? Of course, it’s not easy, it’s better for us to play in Ukraine, but now there is a war in our country, so we have to play here. However, people here are friendly to us, and we really appreciate it,” Yarmolenko said.
“I have already played in Romania. Of course, I want to invite all our people and local residents who are interested in football to tomorrow’s match, come and support us. This match is for the fans, we need everyone who is in Romania now at the stadium, because we are playing for you.”
“Of course we are ready. We understand that we played the first match not at our level. We have 90 minutes to fix the situation.”
Dynamo lost to Aris (0:1) in the first match. The only goal the Kiev team conceded from the penalty spot in the second half.
The return match between Dinamo and Aris will take place on August 17 in Bucharest at the Rapid Giulesti stadium. The start is at 20:00. The bout will be served by an Austrian team of referees led by Sebastian Gieshamer.
