The hero of the second round in the Second League, Mykola Vechurko, shared his impressions of the victory over Karpaty-2 (4:0) with Sport Arena, and also spoke about the team’s tasks for the season.
– Of course, it is always a pleasure to win in such an honorary nomination, – Vechurko noted. – I will do my best to bring as much benefit to the team as possible with my game.
– Probably, there was no talk of underestimating the Carpathians, because the Lviv team started the season powerfully?
– Indeed, promising young people play for the Lviv team, which will still make themselves known. We carefully analyzed their game against Rukh-2, drew the right conclusions and achieved the result.
– Which of the goals scored did you like the most?
“I scored my three goals in nine minutes. Of course, it was not without luck, but the strongest is lucky. All goals scored are good and important in their own way. In my opinion, this is one of the best matches for me in recent times.
– Do you feel that Chaika is progressing from match to match?
– The main thing is that we do not stop there. We know that there is still a lot of work to be done. We will try to keep progressing.
– In two rounds, the team scored seven goals and did not concede a single one. How did you manage to stabilize the game in defense, because last season there were problems with this?
“We spend a lot of time in training playing defense. Every football player knows what to do in a given situation on the field. Reliable defensive play gives confidence to the whole team.
– During the match with Karpaty-2 you were injured. How do you feel now?
– I can’t say anything about this yet, because now I’m undergoing an examination. I hope that soon I will return to the football field and again I will help the team.
– What tasks do you set for yourself in Chaika? Is the team able to move up in class?
– It is important to progress with each game and move only forward. We set only the most ambitious goals, and time will tell.
