Dynamo played below their capabilities in the first qualifying match for the Conference League in Greece. So says one of the leaders of the Kyiv club Andriy Yarmolenko.
At the pre-match press conference, the football player spoke about the difficulties of matches abroad, and also invited fans to visit the game at the Giulesti stadium.
– Of course, it is not easy, it would be better if we play in Ukraine, but now there is a war in our country, so we have to play here. However, the people here are friendly to us, and we really appreciate it.
– No, I’ve played here. Of course, I would like to invite all our people and local residents who are interested in football to tomorrow’s match – come and support us. This match is for the fans. Everyone in Romania today, we need to be in the stadium, because we are playing for you.
– Of course, we are ready. We understand that we played in the first match not at our level. We have 90 minutes to correct the situation.
Recall that the second leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League Dynamo – Aris will be held on Thursday, August 17, in Bucharest at the Giulesti Stadium.
