Argentinian striker Lionel Messi hinted that his transition from “Barcelona” V “Paris Saint Germain” in the summer of 2021 was a necessary measure, unlike the transfer to “Inter-Miami” .
The striker played for the Catalan club from 2003 to 2021 and won 35 trophies with them. He was ready to stay and was negotiating a new contract, but the parties failed to reach an agreement and Messi moved to PSG, also changing his place of residence.
“My departure for Paris was not something that I wanted. I did not want to leave Barcelona, it happened spontaneously. After two seasons, the Argentinian left the Parisian club and joined Inter Miami, which plays in the North American league MLS.

To date, Messi has made six appearances for Inter Miami, in which he has scored 9 goals. On August 20, he can win his new team’s first cup: Inter Miami will play in the League Cup final against Nashville.
