According to this source, Manchester City have reached an agreement in principle to sign Laporte from Al Nasr for £25m (€29.2m). It is also worth noting that Laporte was offered a contract until 2026, according to which the player will receive around 15 million euros for each of the three seasons.
Earlier, it was reported that Laporte is ready to pursue his career in Saudi Arabia and has accepted an offer from Al-Nasr.
According to Transfermarkt, the Spanish defender has a market value of €25m. The 29-year-old previously played for Athletic Bilbao and is currently a Manchester City player.
