Athletistic/Football. Luciano Spalletti has been appointed head coach of the Italian national team. He will take office on September 1. This information was announced through the official press release of the national team.
The 64-year-old was lucky enough to lead the Napoli side and win the league title in 2022/23 but quit his job shortly after that event due to disagreements with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Luciano Spalletti replaced Roberto Mancini as head coach of the Italian national team. Under Mancini’s tenure, the team won Euro 2020 but failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
