Vernydub: In Kryvbas there is an opportunity to combine work and military service

The well -known football coach told why he decided to lead the team and what the problems with the team are now.

He agreed to lead Kryvbas, as there was an opportunity to work and at the same time continue to serve in the army. This was stated in an interview with the press service of the Krivoy Rog club by the new head coach Yuriy Vernidub. In addition, the well -known mentor admitted that the team now has serious problems.

“After a five-six-month pause, I got the opportunity to work as a coach again in Kryvbas. I know this team well, because in the recent past it was a stable UPL club. Yes, somewhere there was a period when he is not on the map of the Ukrainian pro club, but, thank God, it has resurfaced, and last season showed that Kryvbas is returning, violating the elite.

I received an offer to lead Kryvbas with the opportunity to combine work and military service. I’m happy that I can do what I want again, work with the team.

I must say right away that the infrastructure is at a high level. As for the team, there are some problems. We will form a new team. There is a war in Ukraine, it is very difficult to assemble a team. But time will tell: we will look, we will choose the players we need for the tasks and goals we will set for ourselves.

Despite the fact that we are newcomers to UPL, I, my coaching staff and our club are ambitious. And I want us to set serious goals for ourselves, and not just stay in the Premier League. I think everything is in our hands. We will work and form an ambitious team. This year we will only move on to the way of taking concrete steps in the future to claim a place in European competitions, ”Vernydub said.
