Brazilian striker, Teco signed with Al-Zulfi, a team from Saudi Arabia; it will be the second passage of the former Vitória-ES player in Saudi football
The Brazilian striker woodwho defended the Vitória-ES in 2023, agreed his transfer to the Al-Zulfi, from Saudi Arabia. This will be Teco’s second spell in Saudi football. In 2021, Capixaba defended the Al Jabalain, where he stood out, scoring eight goals and giving nine assists. He signed a contract until April 2024.
“It was a career plan to be able to return to football in Saudi Arabia, I was very happy when I played there, it was a good period in my career. I had this project of being able to come back and, when the opportunity arose, I was very happy. It’s a cool project, football in Saudi Arabia is in the spotlight and I’m very happy with this agreement”he said through his press office.
Teco arrived in Saudi Arabia last week and is already training with the group of players aiming for the 2023/2024 season. Al-Zulfi currently plays in the third tier of Saudi football. The player was presented last Monday (14), highlighted the club’s focus and celebrated the investment in football in the country.
“The project that was presented is to be able to achieve great achievements and that enchants any player. The investment here in Arabia has been very big a few years ago and now it seems to be even bigger as they are really focused on growing and developing football in the country. It is great to be able to return at this moment and I hope to be able to have a great season and help the team in the pursuit of its objectives”, concluded the player.
