Athletistic / Football. According to Sport24, former Russian national team goalkeeper Andrei Lunev has arrived in Baku to sign a contract with local club ‘Karabakh’.

According to the source, the player will sign a two-year contract with a salary of €200,000 per season. For Lunev, this will be the second overseas experience of his career, after playing for Bayer Leverkusen.

Lunev will move to Qarabag as a free agent

Last season, the goalkeeper played just three games for the German club, conceding four goals. Previously, Lunev played for Russian clubs Ufa and Zenit, becoming a three-time Russian champion as part of the latter.
