Athletistic/ Football. On Saturday 19 August, the second leg of the third round of UEFA Champions League qualifying took place. AEK hosted Dinamo Zagreb. Recall that in the first game the Greek team won with the score 2:1.
Today’s game ended in a 2:2 draw. The scorers for the Croatian team were Josip Shutalo and Robert Ljubicic. However, in stoppage time, AEK came back thanks to goals from Sergio Araujo and Domagoj Vida.
AEK won with an aggregate score of 4:3 and advanced to the knockout round of Champions League qualification. Zagreb “Dinamo” goes to the Europa League.
