A powerful action designed to remind the world of the nightmarish war in our country unleashed by an insane aggressor
During the final match Women’s World Cup 2023 between the national teams of Spain and England, a fan ran onto the field in a T-shirt with inscriptions in support for Ukraine.
On the front side of the striker’s T-shirt was the image of the Russian dictator in the image of Hitler and the signature “Stop putler”. On the back is a map of Ukraine and the words “Free Ukraine”.

The incident happened 26 minutes into the final match at Australia Stadium in Sydney. The troublemaker tried to run up to one of the England players, but was detained by the stewards.
The match was interrupted for a few minutes, and soon after, Spain scored the only goal and ended up celebrating a historic victory.
Recall that a similar incident took place during the men’s World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Then, during the match between Portugal and Uruguay, the Italian activist Mario Ferri appeared on the field, on whose T-shirt there was a message “Save Ukraine”.
