Iede, Dibango, Kozak, Kryskiv, Krasnopir and the whole team of the 4th round of the Premier League

Sport Arena names the symbolic team of the next UPL round of the 2023/24 season, as well as the best in individual nominations, which are determined by our website for each round

On the website SportArena.com – teams of all rounds of the Ukrainian Premier League 2023/24. Who this time got into the top 11 and became the winner in individual categories?

Goalkeeper – Oleg Mozil (Metalist 1925)

Dmitrenko’s goal on finishing after a multi-wave attack was a reward for the whole team, but it would not have mattered if Metalist 1925’s goalkeeper had given up earlier. Mozil parried a number of long-range shots by Vishnevsky, Panasenko, Vitenchuk and Petko. Saved when twice in the second half Vishnevsky was right in front of him. Only once he misfired when serving a corner, but in general he played a key role in the first victory of the Kharkiv team in the new season.

Right back – Ilya Putrya (Chernomorets)

This is a difficult choice, because Putra got hurt in single combats with Yarmolenko and he strained a lot in the game without the ball. However, as Grigorchuk rightly noted, there are things for which ten mistakes are forgiven. Ilya actively played along the entire length of the flank and took part in the first scoring combination. Repeatedly sent the ball to the right and helped the team in the rapid promotion of the ball and lightning attacks. It should be noted that the miner Gocholeishvili had a fantastic start to the match with Kryvbas, but during the meeting he lost his duel to Dibango.

Central defender – Bogdan Slyubik (Rukh)

The Lions’ center of defense remains one of the youngest in the Premier League, but the lack of experience and ages of 20 and 19 for two of the key defensive players hasn’t stopped Rukh from performing well in the net. Slyubik is not to blame for Tsurikov’s goal, in general he played well in defense, and soon after the break he closed Solomon’s corner with a good header. Bogdan opened the scoring with his goals in the Premier League and became one of the heroes of the central match of the tour.

Central defender – Vladislav Baboglo (FC Alexandria)

Zorya is a fast team with great attacking potential. But in the match against the Alexandrians, she was unable to inflict a single accurate blow on target. A bunch of Loginov – Baboglo generally played strongly, and Vladislav can generally be called the best player of the match. Sufficiently convincing personal figures in the selections, rebounds and won the fight, and most importantly, the player of the national team of Moldova has practically eliminated the threat to the goal near his zone.

Left back – Ivan Dibango (Kryvbas)

At the beginning of the match, it seemed that Gocholeishvili was taking off Dibango’s shoes. At the same time, the Cameroonian improved so much during the game that the champions of Ukraine could not stop him. It was Ivan who robbed Giorgi at the front line, laying out an assist on Khomchenovsky, and just before the break he gave out a flank serve for the second goal of the Kryvyi Rihians in the performance of Kozhushko. Dibango acted actively and selflessly. As a result, it was against Vanya that Bondarenko broke the rules, receiving a red card for the second time this season.

Central midfielder – Pavel Orikhovsky (Kolos)

Talented young players gathered in the center of the field near Rukh, but Orikhovsky held the level against former teammates. It was Pavel who assisted Tsurikov with a well-balanced serve from the right edge (the score was opened in the 35th minute), and in general he played in his own style in the center of the field, took on the implementation of standards, worked diligently in the area where important martial arts took place and new attacks of the Kovalevites were born. A strategically important away draw was an acceptable result for Kolos.

Right attacking midfielder – Artem Kozak (Polesie)

The match against LNZ, the same debutant of the UPL, was fundamental for Polesie. Each of the teams wanted to show that the off-season was not in vain, and the reinforcement turned out to be of high quality. But despite the fact that the newcomers of Zhytomyr are really high-class, the best player of the Cherkasy match turned out to be one of the old-timers of Polesye – Kozak. It was he who timely passed to Arielson, who opened the scoring for his goals in Ukraine with a tasty blow. And after the break, with a pitch from the standard, I found Kushnirenko, who scored the winning goal. There is the first victory of Polissya outside his native city in the new season.

Central attacking midfielder – Artur Avagimyan (Chernomorets)

The match against Dynamo is the best for Avagimyan upon his return to Chernomorets. He opened the scoring when the ball hit him after a bounce – he shot as uncomfortable as possible for Neshcheret, also with a rebound from the post. In the future, Arthur constantly participated in the fast multi-move of the inhabitants of Odessa. At the end of the match, it was Avagimyan who, with a smart pass to Shporn, began the hosts’ decisive scoring attack. Further, the Slovenian passed to Ieda, and the Nigerian had not to miss the empty gate.

Left attacking midfielder – Dmitry Kryskiv (Shakhtar)

Sudakov is being treated, Bondarenko is sent off for the second time in a row, so Kryskiv becomes a real hero for the Donetsk team. In Krivoy Rog, he outplayed his opponents and was constantly at the epicenter of events. They fouled him, they tried to play tightly against him, but Dmitry was unstoppable. It was he who, playing with Sikan, completed the multi-move, doubling the score. Just before the break, he also scored when Bondarenko took advantage of the goalkeeper’s mistake. In a few more moments, he aggravated and could score more (he struck next to the woodwork with the score 1:2). He gave all his strength and was replaced after 2/3 of the match.

Forward – Samson Onomigo Iede (Chernomorets)

Iede came on as a substitute in the 64th minute and became the only substitution from Grigorchuk. However, with his entry into the field, the Nigerian turned the match against Dynamo upside down. He played equally useful both in the underplay and in the end. Yes, after the Samson raid, Shporn and Boychuk could score along the front. Later, Iede was able to score himself and earned a removal for the Kiev defender Sirota. At the end of the match, he competently went forward in a parallel course with Shporn, and when the Slovenian rolled out a pass to an empty net for him, Samson was rewarded for his activity.

Forward – Igor Krasnopir (Obolon)

Krasnopir entered the second half, replacing the nominal midfielder Sukhanov, who did a lot of running work in front, but still could not essentially do the forward’s work in full. But Igor from the first seconds on the field turned the game around. First, he gave a chic assist to Taranukha, then he started to pass from the depths from Pear, who made a spectacular solo raid. The reactive left striker combined great with teammates and could score more. He completely turned the game around, in which his team won a strong-willed victory.

Tour coach – Valery Ivashchenko (Obolon)

Capital Obolon is strikingly different from other UPL newcomers. She cannot afford status, experienced newcomers. The search area is the lower leagues and even regional competitions. However, the First League silver medalist is truly a value for money champion. In the match with the vice-champion of Ukraine Dnipro-1, the people of Kiev, who successfully changed tactics for the Premier League, gave their opponents a chance to speak, passing the ball. But they constantly kept the hosts at the expense of pressure and added speed during the match, because they saved the fastest players for replacements. The hero of the fight Krasnopir is a football player found by Obolontsy in the regional championship. It is symbolic for the titanic work that Obolon did.

Joker of the tour – Vladislav Dmitrenko (Metalist 1925)

It’s an impressive tour for substitute players. Krasnopor from Obolon and Iede from Chernomorets can confirm for you. However, there were many goals scored in those matches, and players in the tour team are listed. And our choice is the joker, whose action decided everything in the match to the end. It was his finishing that brought the Kharkiv team their first victory in the new championship. Vladislav himself, a gifted but somewhat traumatic player, has long deserved such a special moment. Ever since the First League times, he has been a real secret agent of his team.

  • Sport Arena stats: 1 league match, 1 goal.

The best young player of the tour – Igor Krasnopir (Obolon)

A 20-year-old native of the championship of the Kiev region turned the game with Dnepr-1 by coming on as a substitute. A goal and an assist are the decisive contribution of a U-21 candidate to this success.

  • Sport Arena stats: 4 league games, 1 goal, 1 assist

The best legionnaire of the tour – Arielson (Polesye)

A brilliant debut, you can’t wish for better! The young Brazilian opened the scoring in the very first match, having coolly handled Kozak’s pass and delivered an accent shot right into the corner from an average distance. Arielson has yet to reach the level of readiness with new teammates, as well as adapt to the Ukrainian championship. However, his start turned out to be top-notch and this adds optimism.

  • Sport Arena stats: 1 league match, 1 goal.

Hero of the tour – Ivan Dibango (Kryvbas)

The best player of this round was the player who gave two assists in a spectacular draw with Shakhtar.

  • Sport Arena stats: 4 league matches, 3 assists.
