This option of continuing the career of a 40-year-old coach is associated with a return to the Kharkov club Evgenia Krasnikova.
Kucher announced that he was resigning after losing to Obolon (1:2) in the 4th round of the Ukrainian championship. Dnipro-1, having won only one victory in the season, take 11th place in the UPL standings. One of his possible successors is the Spanish specialist Gonzalo Garcia.
The Dnipros have consistently been eliminated from two qualifying tournaments – the Champions League (from Panathinaikos) and the Europa League (from Slavia). If the vice-champion of Ukraine in the playoff round of the Conference League does not pass the Slovak Spartak from Trnava, the European season will end for him.
Dnipro-1 will play the next match on Wednesday, August 23, against the above-mentioned opponent from Slovakia. Then the vice-champion will visit the leader of the current championship Rukh.
