The third fight of the boxers will take place on September 17
Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin held the first duel of views on the eve of their third duel.
On September 17, Canelo and Golovkin will fight for the undisputed world super middleweight title. Alvarez now holds four championship belts.
The third fight between the Mexican and Kazakhstani will take place on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which also hosted the first two fights of the trilogy.
The first fight between Canelo and Golovkin in 2017 ended in a draw. A year later, the Mexican won by split decision.
In May, Alvarez suffered the second defeat of his career, losing to Russian Dmitry Bivol in a fight for the world light heavyweight title.
Golovkin last fought in April, defeating Japan’s Ryota Murata via TKO to unify three middleweight titles.
