Paraná team draws the attention of Algerians by sharing the wrong map of the country and apologizes for an error during the announcement of a 35-year-old player
What a situation! O Coritiba committed a gaffe when announcing the signing of the Algerian striker Islam Slimani. By sharing some posts, the club Paraná posted a wrong map of Algeriagenerating some complaints from Internet users from the African country.
What happened was that, in the post, Coxa used a photo of the country’s incomplete forest, without the northern region, with the club’s symbol. The image, which had been shared via the team’s Twitter, was deleted after the criticism. This Monday, the 21st, Alviverde apologized for the error.
