Henry takes charge of French youth team

Under the leadership of Thierry, the team will perform at the 2024 Olympics

Former celebrity striker Thierry Henry became the new head coach France U-21 team.

Henry signed a contract until the summer of 2025. Ex-coach Angers Geral Baticle became Tieri’s assistant in the team.

Henry will start his work in the selection for Euro 2025. The key task for the new coaching staff will be preparation and performance at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Sylvain Ripoll was the head coach of the French youth team. Under his leadership, the team reached the quarterfinals of the youth Euro 2023, where they lost to the Ukrainian team (1:3).
