Arana will be judged by the STJD after denouncing physical aggression

Atlético Mineiro side will be judged by the STJD for physical aggression after receiving a direct red card during a match against Goiás for the Brazilian Championship

Next Tuesday, the 29th, the left side of the Atlético Mineiro, Guilherme Aranawill be judged by STJD due to his expulsion during the match against Goias, which ended 0-0 on the 17th of July. Arana was denounced by the STJD Attorney’s Office in article 254-A, which cites “Practicing physical aggression during the match, competition or equivalent”. The Brazilian Code of Sports Justice foresees a punishment of four to 12 matches for the athlete who is condemned in the mentioned article.

The player of rooster can be acquitted, warned, or even punished with the lightest penalty, if there is disqualification of the article that mentions “physical aggression”. Guilherme, for example, can be judged for practicing violent play, whose penalty is from one to six games.

Arana has already fulfilled the automatic punishment and did not play in the match against Guild in the next round. If you take more than one penalty game, you can be out of the game against athletic. But, as the trial is only a week away, Arana can play normally in the match against Santos, which will probably mark the inauguration of the Arena MRV.

Whatever the punishment given by the STJD in the first instance, it may be the subject of an appeal with a request for a suspensive effect to the Plenary of the body. That’s what happened to Felipão, twice, already in charge of the Galo.
