Ronaldo will now have a compatriot and teammate on the team
Saudi Al Nasr announced the signing of midfielder Otaviowho previously spoke for Porto.
The 28-year-old Portugal international has been with the Dragons since 2016. Last season he played 44 matches in all competitions, scored 7 goals and provided 13 assists. He was recognized as the best player in the league at the end of the 2022/23 season. In the new season for the Lisbon club, he managed to play twice.
Previously, Al-Nasr signed Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic and Sadio Mane. The new coach of the club was the ex-coach of Shakhtar Luis Castro. The club is also close to signing Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City.
Recently, Al-Nasr became the winner of the Arab Champions Cup, which was held in Saudi Arabia. In the final, the team led by the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo beat Al-Hilal 2:1.
