Regarding the rumors of Ajax’s interest in his transfer, Pizzelli said: “He could play successfully at Ajax. It won’t cause him any difficulty. However, Edik was born and raised in Russia, and my main concern is that the problems of adapting to a new mentality. As for his playing qualities, I have no doubts. He is capable of playing in big teams, especially at Ajax. However, the mentality can be a barrier. We all know that when a Russian player goes to Europe, adaptation can be a problem,” shared Pizzelli.
