FBU banned 26 people from boxing for life

Among them is the former world champion Kotelnik

Control and Disciplinary Committee Boxing Federation of Ukraine expelled 10 local organizations from the FBU, and also banned 26 people for life from engaging in any activity related to boxing.

The list of persons suspended from boxing activities includes a former world welterweight champion Andrey Kotelnikas well as a participant in the Olympic Games in London Evgeny Khitrov. Full list of faces available link.

Donetsk, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv regional and Kyiv city boxing federations were among the organizations excluded from the FBU.

The above sanctions apply to individuals and organizations that, on February 22, at an extraordinary conference of the FBU, elected Kirill Shevchenko as the new president of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine.

On the eve of the FBU, which recognizes Vladimir Prodivus as the president of the Federation, announced a raider seizure of the organization.
